Only 4 xing stations b/w NCB NCBD route whixh is almost 95 km long if started full fledgedly each way trains have to wait endlessly for hrs in contrary to NCB NMX route which is having 11 xing stations
4 stns doesnt matter, the place getting connectivity matters..
Do u know the reason behind this connectivity? Rly is not doing any social service here it constructed new line for evacuating freights from #BG1 whereas NCB JPZ part of NMX JPZ was started to find an alternate route avoiding KOJ which was considered to be a hurdle in lower Assam to enter the North East. Though law & order situation in KOJ is now far better compared to neighbouring North Bengal
yes earlier only 1 route was to enter Assam, now it will have two.. main route may be slowly de-congested..
New alignment for New Domohoni-Maynaguri Rd has been finalised and work is going in at full swing.Trains coming from NJO will now crows the Teesta bridge andcome upto Maynaguri Rd and take the New Changrabandha to NCB.
