In the last 2weeks, I have travelled in this train 6times between Durgapur and Howrah. Every time it has reached Howrah within 10.40 hrs
Infact one time it arrived before time also (10.22hrs) and one time bang on time (10.25hrs). In the rest of the journeys it reached Howrah between 10.30 and 10.40. In comparison to the earlier time when it never used to reach howrah before 10.55, this time the train is usually arriving howrh on time.

Well this is a welcome news, given how back CF & BD were doing in the punctuality department since the last few months....
But credit to ECR ???
Full credit to ASN Div, the overall punctuality of a train depends on the controlling in the areas having the maximum number of halts, in CFs case all the intermediate halts fall in ASN Div. And given how busy ASN has been taking extra loads, this is a commendable achievement.

CF is now doing good but unfortunately BD has still a long way to go
Being a frequent traveller between DGR and HWH, I often take BD if I have to travel between in the evening hrs but every time BD arrives late by atleast 30mins and the main problem behind this is DHN itself. Almost Everyday for some unknown reasons, BD is getting rescheduled from DHN by 10mins to several hrs. Infact up BD also doesn't run with much delay (usually 10mins delay as I have seen) as I prefer BD/hool while travelling from HWH to DGR but still almost everyday BD is getting rescheduled. Now BD never reaches HWH before 10pm. ECR should consider this issue seriously now and take...
