Yup EMD's running from long time i use to call EMD as Computer Engine :) when i was in school they started in this section those were imported one bit change from present EMD make. Running to watch it if hear the sound of that EMD as that time their were only Alco's and it was new thing to watch EMD tht time but now a days so many pass on especially goods carrying 3 to 5 EMD's but we dont give surprise look for them now..This shows humans desire will not be constant and same :) it keeps on changin with time.

Yeah agreed. The sound of an EMD feels like an aeroplane flying across. And the sound it makes after change of throttles and accelerating is just awesome. The way it manages the gradient seems soo easy for it

This reminds me of when I was a kid, 12007 was the only train in SBC-MYS section to run with EMD in charge (back in 2002).. can't describe the childish excitement I used to have when my train was looped for crossing, anticipating that an EMD horse with 12007 will appear.. good ol memories :)

Yup the sound of EMD is the one of the attractions I love them and my dad use to tell me computer Engine speed of acceleration can't be felt but it runs on good speed. When I was kid of 2 years their was no electricity facility in our Railway outhouse late nights I use to cry and make my dad to take Me railway station Where lot of lights and I use to see GTL UBL GC at GDG station yard works from that time I am fond of railways.. I miss my all those memories a lot..I love YDM Loco as they use to ply lot in MG Era of GDG BJP Section.I saw parallel action of MG and BG at GDG Jn that time no mobiles or camera to shoot.. I remember MG train towards Bijapur aggressively accelerated fast and went ahead rushing against BG Hampi EXP..
