The departure timings of 12346 Saraighat Express should be changed to evening just like 12345 and rake sharing should be done at howrah in with any overnight train which arrives howrah early in the morning and does not get much late. 12346 continuously gets delayed due if 12345 arrives late at guwahati. Changing the timings of the DN Saraighat would give ample time at guwahati and even cleaning can be done at guwahati which is not presently being done because of less time available at guwahati. The train can leave at 4.30 in the evening and arrive howrah at 9.30 in the morning. This would also allow people from many far regions of north east to arrive guwahati by early morning bus or train and catch Saraighat.

But this is definitely needed as 12346 gets continuously delayed due to late arrival of 12345. And if the train gets late in excess of 4-5 hrs it results in continuous rescheduling of both 12345/46 causing inconvenience, specially to the people who break their journey at howrah, specially those going towards south india. Changing trains at howrah after arriving by saraighat is very unreliable.

Ya you problem is right but it can easily solve by adding one more rake..
And current time of LHBification every zone have enough icf boggies..
12345 can't depart from hwh at late night bczz already Darjeeling and padatik are ready for north from sealdah..
So it's quit complicated to solve this problem..

nah late night departure of saraighat is not needed, the present time is the most appropriate one. Instead RSA with any overnight train would mean the pairing train would arrive early morning at howrah and would leave as Saraighat express at 3.50. The 9.30 AM arriving saraighat express could then leave as the same overnight train somewhere around 9.30-10 pm

These days, every other day, we are getting requests from members to allow email login to their FB-based IRI account. 10 years ago, we had given the option for users to login through FaceBook - in retrospect, this was a mistake. These days, apparently, users are quitting FaceBook in droves because...
