I agree with you. But problem at MAQ is different. Mangalore passengers are deprived of proper train to their state capital Bangalore. This is not the case with Kerala Bangalore pax.
Mangalore is being used as dumping ground for Kerala trains. Whether Mangalore needs 5 daily trains to TVC or 4 daily trains to Chennai is to be deliberated. Indian railways have concluded that one train is sufficient for Mangalore Bangalore, but Mangalore Trivandrum needs 5 daily trains. Now they are concluding that Mangalore needs a Tejas to CBE and Bijapur Hubli Davangere passengers can get down at MAJN and suffer.
From...
more... Kerala, for SBC, 3 daily trains are running- ERS SBC intercity, island and KCVL and one daily train to YPR. SWR weekly trains are also going to YPR. Only the weekly trains of SR are being shunted to odd terminals. But at Mangalore central, , Bangalore Gomateshwara and Bijapur trains are not allowed.
This makes Mangalore a victim of exploitation by SR PGT.
