Okay .... yes patronage in this route is really overwhelming and much higher than was expected by SER in the beginning of this project.
By SER wants to run not only Howrah bound Express trains via Bankura-Masagram route but also want to run Long distance Express trains towards Northeast side from West and South India via this route once Electrification gets completed and gets connected to Chord line......then it is a problem as this line doesn't have much loop lines and crossing......then running MEMU, EXPRESS, Goods trains will be a problem and again creating new loops works at different stations have to be constructed
