more... (this isn't my research alone - many veteran IRFCA members did this over the years) took the efforts to do the research, understand the method of railway operations in the 18th century - understand how the railway companies operated and what changes they made over the years.
We took the efforts to find and study newspaper articles from the 1800s and figure out the exact changes.
We worked with veteran railfans from across the world who made a painstaking effort to collect timetables from the 1800s and 1900s and whatever I updated, I did it only after I got the necessary verification from everyone.
I didn't make updates to these pages after sitting at home and searching on google for a few hours.
When I first joined IRI, even I used to say that the Bangalore mail was the oldest and the Kalka mail the second oldest - like the IRFCA FAQ page said.
