Had an Ultra Short Journey in Bilaspur Nagpur Vande Bharat Express. DOJ: 18th August 2023
Even TTE asked me why was I only traveling till Raipur in EC ЁЯШВ
Rainy Morning at Bilaspur.
Typical SECR controlling, got regulated just at Bilaspur Outer. Stopped for 5 times midway till Raipur. Got Overtaken by Freight Trains twice to overtake them at next station. Overtook Gondwana Express...

Rajdhani has very poor occupancy from bilaspur, bulk of its pax come from raipur, durg and nagpur. This is particularly due to days of run colliding with CGSK and it having better timings from bsp than rajdhani.
Rajdhani mainly originates from bsp due to mandate of SM at the other end and overloaded capacity of durg cdo.

Now you can feel the plight of CG people very well. IR is drawing blood and sweat from the CG public with buses cashing on each and every opportunity to plunder income. IR is earning bulk of revenue from there and is giving back nothing in return
I have seen what I expected.
What I gathered was even Buses are pathetic here, it took me 4 hours to cover Raipur Bilaspur Strech.
Overcrowding, Stopping everywhere it's beyond pathetic.
Public Transport between Major cities of Other States is definitely waaaay ahead of what Chattisgarh has.

I understand, but Nagpur cannot be the sole reason for such long route.
I think it's about time that route is diverted via Shahdol route for the benefit of Raipur and Bilaspur.
Nagpur already has many Premium Options.

For Raipur Rajdhani via sdl-kmz route to succeed, days of run need to be changed as current timing would clash with CGSK and public here won't opt for premium fare train to witness OTs by freights as the time difference between the two won't be much.
I feel for that route to succeed financially, Sunday and Wednesday would be fine as there is no any other dedicated CG train to Delhi other than the crawler Chhattisgarh Express. But two hurdles would be:
