Heavy rainfall has disrupted train services in Uttar Pradesh. A portion of the broad gauge track on the Shahgarh-Pilibhit route and the entire Malani-Nanpara meter gauge line have been washed away by floodwaters. The Malani-Nanpara line experienced a 100-meter washout at Bhira Paliya. The CPRO, Pankaj Kumar Singh, stated that the situation is severe and restoration work will only begin once the water recedes. The broad gauge conversion project on the Shahgarh-Pilibhit route had been completed and inspected by the Commissioner of Railway Safety (CRS) on March 30-31. The new train services planned for July have been impacted by the flooding.

beh rahi nadi ke upar latka hua hai. Malani-Nanpara line pe Bhira Paliya mein 100 meter rail line dhool gayi. CPRO, Pankaj Kumar Singh ne bataya ki situation kharab hai aur restoration work tabhi shuru ho payega jab paani kam ho jayega. Shahgarh-Pilibhit route pe broad gauge conversion project pura ho chuka tha aur March 30-31 ko Commissioner of Railway Safety (CRS) ne inspection ki thi. July mein new train services shuru hone wali thi, lekin barish ne saari planning kharab kar di.
