On Wednesday, train operations on the North Railway's Moradabad division were disrupted due to a broken overhead equipment (OHE) near the Alamnagar-Shahjanpur railway line. Bharat Express. The Banaras Intercity, travelling on the same route, was terminated at Lucknow, causing inconvenience to thousands of passengers. A dozen trains passing through Lucknow were also impacted on Thursday. The OHE was repaired around 5:40 PM, restoring the railway route after a 12-hour disruption. According to the Senior DCM of North Railway, Kuldeep Tiwari, the Durgiyana Express (train number 12357) departed from Lucknow at 3:30 AM on its journey from Kolkata to Amritsar. Around 5:00 AM, it collided with hanging OHE wires near Umartaali station, causing a fault in the line. The pilot stopped the train and informed Umartaali and Dalelnagar stations. All incoming trains to Lucknow were halted, including the Rajdhani and Vande Bharat, which were held at the station for hours before being diverted. About two dozen trains were rerouted, and two were canceled. Officials and rescue trains arrived from Lucknow, Hardoi, and Balamu Junction. After six hours, the Durgiyana Express was dispatched with a diesel engine. Hundreds of passengers were stranded in Lucknow due to the halting of two trains on the Bareilly route. While the railway offered alternative train arrangements, several passengers opted for buses. The railway will provide refunds to these passengers. Other passengers remained at the station until late evening, waiting for alternative trains. Over two dozen trains were delayed for seven to eight hours. In Lucknow, passengers at Charbagh, Lucknow Junction, Aishbagh, Badshahnagar, and Gomtinagar railway stations were stranded while waiting for trains. The congestion in the circulating area increased due to passengers being stuck in waiting areas for hours. Long queues formed at inquiry centers for train updates. The GRP and RPF were on standby to manage any potential commotion due to the lack of information. Several trains were delayed by three to five hours, including the Kolkata-Jammu Tawi (4.5 hours), Ganga-Satluj (3.5 hours), Jansadharan Express (6.5 hours), Howrah-Amritsar (3 hours), Unchahar Special (3.25 hours), Shahjahanpur-Lucknow Special (3.5 hours), Jhansi-Lucknow (5 hours), Gorakhpur-Vadodara (6 hours), and Patna-Ahmedabad Special (5 hours). Other trains faced delays late into the night.

Wednesday ko, North Railway ke Moradabad division mein train operations mein disruption aaya tha, jab Alamnagar-Shahjanpur railway line ke paas overhead equipment (OHE) tut gaya. Durgiyana Express live wires se takra gayi, jisse blast hua. Isse train 15127 Kashi Vishwanath cancel ho gaya aur Lucknow-Dehradun Vande Bharat Express ko dusre route...

se bheja gaya. Banaras Intercity, same route pe chal rahi thi, usko Lucknow mein hi terminate kar diya gaya, jisse hazaron passengers pareshan hue. Lucknow se guzarne wali ek dozen se zyada trains bhi Thursday ko affect hui. OHE ko shaam kareeb 5:40 baje thik kar diya gaya, 12 ghante baad railway route restore hua. North Railway ke Senior DCM, Kuldeep Tiwari ke mutabik, Kolkata se Amritsar jaane wali train number 12357 Durgiyana Express subah 3:30 baje Lucknow se chali aur subah kareeb 5 baje Umartaali station ke aage track pe late hue OHE wires se takra gayi, jisse line mein fault aa gaya. Pilot ne train rok kar Umartaali aur Dalelnagar stations ko incident ki jaankaari di. Lucknow aane wali sabhi trains ko rok diya gaya, jisme Rajdhani aur Vande Bharat bhi shamil thi, jinhe ghanton station pe rok kar badle route se bheja gaya. Kareeb do dozen trains ko route badal diya gaya aur do trains cancel kar di gayi. Officials aur rescue trains Lucknow, Hardoi, aur Balamu Junction se mauke pe pahunch gaye. Chhe ghante baad, Durgiyana Express ko diesel engine mangwa kar rawana kiya gaya. Bareilly route ki do trains ko Lucknow mein roke jaane se sainkadon passengers yahan fas gaye. Railway ne unhe dusri trains se bhejne ka aashwasan diya, lekin kaafi passengers buson se rawana ho gaye. Railway in passengers ko refund karega. Dusre passengers shaam tak station pe dusri trains ka intezaar mein fas gaye. Do dozen se zyada trains 7 se 8 ghante tak ruk gayi. Lucknow mein Charbagh, Lucknow Junction, Aishbagh, Badshahnagar, aur Gomtinagar railway stations pe passengers trains ka intezaar mein pareshan rahe. Ghanton waiting area mein baithe rahe. Isse circulating area mein bhi passengers ka jamavada laga raha. Trains ki sahi jaankaari ke liye poochhtachh kendron pe lambi kataaren lagi rahi. Jaankaari nahin mil paane ki wajah se hangaame ki sthiti se nipatne ke liye GRP-RPF mustaid rahi. Kai trains 3 se 5 ghante tak late pahunchi, jisme Kolkata-Jammu Tawi (4.5 ghante), Ganga-Satluj (3.5 ghante), Jansadharan Express (6.5 ghante), Howrah-Amritsar (3 ghante), Unchahar Special (3.25 ghante), Shahjahanpur-Lucknow Special (3.5 ghante), Jhansi-Lucknow (5 ghante), Gorakhpur-Vadodara (6 ghante), aur Patna-Ahmedabad Special (5 ghante) shamil thi. Dusri trains bhi raat late tak der ka shikar hui.
