Bhadrachalam, Malkangiri, Kalahandi, Nabarangpur, and Raigarh. Most of the new lines are in Odisha, including Gunupur-Therubali, Junagarh-Nabarangpur, Badampahad-Kandujhargarh, and Bangariposi-Gorumahisani. The Malkangiri-Pandurangpura (via Bhadrachalam) line connects Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana. The Buramara-Chakulia line connects Jharkhand, West Bengal, and Odisha. The Jalna-Jalgaon line is in Maharashtra, and the Bikramshila-Katihar line is in Bihar. The government emphasizes that these lines are vital for transporting agricultural products, fertilizers, coal, iron ore, steel, cement, bauxite, limestone, and aluminum powder.

Most of the new lines are in Odisha, jaise Gunupur-Therubali, Junagarh-Nabarangpur, Badampahad-Kandujhargarh, aur Bangariposi-Gorumahisani.
