minor mudslide between Hassan and Shantigrama caused a goods train to be stranded, no damage was reported. Railway authorities have deployed 430 employees, including doctors and nurses, along with equipment, to handle the situation. The Karnataka Railway Consumers’ Forum has urged the railway minister and Dakshina Kannada MP to run alternate trains via Hubballi-Madgaon until the tracks are restored.
