Railway records refute claims that most passengers are from Davangere. Data shows that bookings from Hubballi and Dharwad significantly exceed those from Davangere across all classes. For example, in executive class, only 15.01% of seats were booked from Davangere, while 84.97% were booked from Hubballi and Dharwad. The train operates daily, except on Tuesdays, departing Bengaluru at 5:45 AM and reaching Dharwad at 12:10 PM. The return journey departs at 1:15 PM and arrives in Bengaluru at 7:45 PM, making stops at Yeshwantpur, Davangere, and Hubballi. The train has an average occupancy rate of over 85%, reaching 115-120% during peak seasons. South Western Railway continues to improve passenger amenities to keep up with the high demand and positive response to the Vande Bharat Express.
