Is THis Railway Line Really Needed Or Waste Of Money Pls Share Your Opinion
With Hasanur ghat section and a newly createdwildlife sanctuary, the area has lot of issues. This project is not new. Almost 100 years old (repeat 100 years). Many a times, this was attempted for review, but nothing happened.

If and only if Mettupalayam/ Sathyamangalam to Chamarajamagar project is getting all green signals, this Chamarajanagar - Kollegal - Kanakapura - Bangalore line should be taken up. Else, this new line will not be a profitable one, as it will end at Chamarajajanagar, which is dead end of SWR MYS division.
