Tension kyun lete ho man. The being a railphan no way makes you accountable for the mess-ups by RCF no? :-)
But agreed, food quality is very bad in 2A and 3A of Raj,
Right from 2007 when I started travelling by this train, the food quality has been consistently terrible in 2A and 3A alike. Thats when I gave up, spent extra on travelling by 1A, but never had to regret even once regarding the quality & quantity of food and comfort.
Yes, I guess. I've read a very satisfied review of the IA of DRNT. You can check it here. I suggest you to try it the next time, I'm sure at least the speed, courtesy of pantry staff and the cleanliness won't disappoint you.
But now if I need to travel in 1A and book 2 months in advance for that, I am better off flying :) However I will travel in 1A just for the heck of it anyway
