Waiting for Mumbai Rajdhani to hit 130kmph in Virar-Vadodara section...Finally CRS approved the increase in MPS of some trains..what a delightful news...seems the train's existing average speed will also increase...Hoping that Vadodara-Ratlam section also to get upgraded... so that Mumbai-Delhi travel time reduces and BCT RAJ becomes the ultimate supremo of IR :)

As per the white paper NDLS-LDH section of NDLS-ASR line is also expected to be upgraded to 130 km/h from 110km/h by June 2015. This will result in saving of 30-34 minutes of time. If this happens, then we can see speeding up of ASR-NDLS Shatabdis, JAT Rajdhani, Shri Shakti AC Express by 30-35 minutes in July time table. Also NDLS-KLK/CDG Shatabdis will see speeding up by 15-16 minutes. This will also pave way for running NDLS-JAT Shatabdi in near future.
-------------
As of now I am expecting at least speeding up
...
of the following trains in July
1. NDLS-BCT Rajdhanis at least by 40 minutes sue to increase in MS of NDLS-AGC section which they use upto MTJ and Virar Godhara section
2. BCT-ADI Shatabdi at least by 30 minutes
3. BCT-ADI Duronto at least by 30 minutes
4. NDLS-BCT Duronto by 40 minutes
5. NDLS-JAT Rajdhani by 30 minutes
6. NDLS-ASR Shatabdis by 30 minutes
7. NDLS-CDG/KLK Shatabdis by 15 minutes
8. ASR-BCT Golden temple Mail & Pashchim express by 30 & 45 minutes

When Bpl Shatabdi had MPS of 110kmph end to end, it covered Ndls-Bpl quicker than what it does now even when MPS is 150kmph for 150kms strectch and 130 kmph for 290 kms (between AGC-LAR).

U missed August Kranti Rajdhani Express...one of the most tight and hectic schedule trains on WR and IR...Hoping that 22913 AC Premium special (actually meant to be permanently BCT-NDLS AC Express) gets regularized NON PREMIUMLY during off season and follows the league and takes advantage of faster speeds

These days, every other day, we are getting requests from members to allow email login to their FB-based IRI account. 10 years ago, we had given the option for users to login through FaceBook - in retrospect, this was a mistake. These days, apparently, users are quitting FaceBook in droves because...
