Train 12547/48 Agra Cantt Ahmedabad Superfast Express and 22547/48 Gwalior Ahmedabad Superfast Express are important Trains from North Central Railway towards Ahmedabad. These trains connect important Cities like Bharatpur, Jaipur, Ajmer, tourist place like Abu Road and Industrial as well as cultural hub of Gujrat i.e. Ahmedabad.
Train 12547/48 has a layover time of more than 14 hours at Agra while Train 22547/22548 have a lay over time of 10 hours at Gwalior.
I recently demanded to extend this train up to Jhansi as...
more... it will have many benefits.
1. Jhansi only has one active train towards Ahmedabad ie. Sabarmati Express will runs with full occupancy, heavy waiting list and it's almost impossible to book a train in feasible timings.
2. Extension will add more pax to the train will connect NCR with WR, and NWR as only 2 trains are available on this route for Jaipur, Ajmer.
3. Layover time is more than 10 hours at Gwalior. Shifting it to Jhansi will just consume 4 hours in down UP and DN directions.
4. 6 hours Primary Maintenance is enough for a LHB train can arrive Jhansi around 11.40 and depart Jhansi at 18.20.
5. Bundelkhand has large number of job seekers, migrants and labour travelling to Gujrat. As we witnessed in lockdown. Many shramik special run from ADI ST BRC RJT to Rural Bundelkhand JHS and Banda. Thus it will surely be a hit on the route.
The twitter has been sent to the official of NCR Jhansi Divison, Agra Divison and HQ at Prayagraj and also Rail Minister Piyush Goyal. We expect a positive response in this case. The link is provided here
