Two passengers on the Katihar-Tatanagar Express reported thefts of valuables and cash. Rupa Raj from Rampur, Odisha, had ₹3,000 in cash, a mangalsutra, chain, and diamond locket stolen near Hatidah station in Bihar. and a man on the Purushottam Express had their mobile phones and ₹1,700 stolen. Vinod Kumar from Manefit had his mobile and wallet stolen at Delhi station, and Charanjeet Kaur from Jugsalai had her mobile taken at Tatanagar station. The Tatanagar and Delhi RPF filed reports based on passenger statements. Krishna Prasad from Bilaspur reported his mobile stolen from the Puri-Rishikesh Utkal Express.

ghatna mein Madhepura ke Kumharkhand ke Rahul Kumar ne 1700 rupay cash aur dusre jewar ki chori ka case darj karaaya hai. Idhar, Purushottam Express mein chadhne ke dauran ek mahila aur ek purush yaatri ka mobile aur 1700 rupay chori ho gaya. Manefit ke Vinod Kumar ka mobile aur purse Delhi station par chori hua tha, jabki Jugsalai ke Charanjeet Kaur ka mobile Tatanagar station par badmash ne nikal liya. Isse dono stations ki rail police ne ek dusre ke thaana mein yaatri ke bayan par darj FIR bheja hai.
