The train is scheduled to stop at Pathankot Cantt station daily at 11:10 am on its way to Katra and at 5:32 pm on its return journey. Booking for the train is expected to open in two days. Sharma, who had earlier lobbied for Pathankot to be elevated to a district and a corporation, said that the stop was a result of his efforts to bring development to the region.
