The U-girder is used to build the base of the metro track. With the erection of the final 348th U-girder, the construction of 264 double T-girders, 64 I-girders, and 186 pier caps has been completed. This section includes the Barradevi, Kidwai Nagar, Vasant Vihar, Buddhist Nagar, and Naubasta metro stations under construction. The civil construction of this section began on August 8, 2022. The Managing Director of UPMRC, Sushil Kumar, congratulated the team of engineers on this achievement. He said that the civil construction of the Barradevi-Naubasta elevated section of the Kanpur Metro project is moving rapidly towards its goal.

UPMRC ke MD, Sushil Kumar ne engineers ki team ko is achievement pe congratulate kiya. Unhone kaha ki Kanpur Metro project ke Barradevi-Naubasta elevated section ka civil construction apne lakshya ki taraf tez chal raha hai.
