So basically reason for coach augmentation by IR was nothing but farce. FOR last 20 years we were being told that due to space constraints in hwh platforms it was not possible to increase coaches in this train. Exact reason was sheer neglecting for loop line trains and nothing else.

Sorry state of affairs if this is true. One of the most dependable train for jmp and bgp passengers to ho hwh wherein getting confirmed berth was always an issue. If issue of pitline at Jmp was real culprit then it is really painful to know that it took atleast 15 years to rectify this issue

In today's journey this train COVERED BGP to MLDT in 2 hrs 30 mins approx. If all the slack is removed then it can easily be made to run as timings for previous route for end to end passengers. Whatever extra time it is taking because of long route can be nullified by removing all the slack time

I feel it doesn't make much of a difference. It has been extended just for one day. Waise bhi passengers from godda and nearby areas use to board from bhagalpur only. Now they will have privilege to board from godda.
