drive was conducted to clear the area for the construction of a foot overbridge and third line at the Jugsalai crossing. Railway authorities had given a 10-day notice to vacate the area before the action was taken. Despite the drive, tea shops and other vendors returned within five hours. Experts suggest that building a boundary wall around the railway land is the only way to prevent the return of these encroachments.

Railway authorities ne action lene se pehle 10 din ka notice diya tha. Campaign ke baad bhi, panch ghante mein hi chai ki dukaan aur aur vendors dobara aa gaye. Experts ka kehna hai ki railway land ke aas-paas boundary wall banaane se hi encroachment ko roka ja sakta hai.
