Yeah, back in the day it used to take a whopping 28 hours. It would leave around 11pm and get there around 3am on both ends. I still remember when I took the HWH Mail and Mumbai Mail, they would leave at the same time from MAS. And they used to arrive one after the other in MAS. The catering was like the late ONT and early arrival in the metro for the areas between GTL and SUR. That kind of service for the common folks is nowhere to be seen now.

CR/SCR/SR both be knocked out on Mumbai Chennai MainLine topic. All 3 be giving zero fucks about our route even though they part of the golden quadrilateral line :p

yeah man. Even the regular coaches would be alright for email. There should be a train like Andaman maintained on the Chennai-Mumbai section to serve the majority of intermediate people so that MAS LTT, MAS CSMT Superfast can have a faster schedule with fewer stops.

sure sar. Even IRS coaches r fain for mail. wan train laik Andaman shuld be maintained in chennai mumbai section to cater most intermediate people caterance so that MAS LTT, MAS CSMT SF can take aggressive TT vith Limited stops.

experimental is just for the fancy talk, I haven't seen a train's test stop getting canceled once it's done 🥴

We've been asking for stops that were unreasonably removed (they were already stopping at Adoni before COVID), and we wanted stops mainly for:
1) Basava Express (Bagalkot-Mysore)
2) Solapur-Hassan daily
3) Ahmedabad-Chennai Humsafar
4) Jammu to Tirupati Humsafar
5) Jaipur-YPR Suvidha
Other ones like Eknr-Mas SF, Adi-Trichi Special, and Latur/Bidar to YPR daily.
Anyhow, they finally provided stops for the ones that were negligible.
