Useful Useful Useful _/\_ Useful Useful
An insight on the best and worst maintained Rajdhani Trains in IR, based on the mechanical defects observed during Primary Maintenance.
Quite surprising figures, considering lower numbers for shitty NFR Rajdhanis and inflated numbers for WR Mumbai Rajdhanis

Probably the data is being normalized so that IR as a whole looks better. When emotional consolation is given more value hard facts, then it can only get downhill from here...

For Faults to be found, inspections are needed to be conducted in the first place.
Reports have to be submitted, reason has to be ascertained.
Some Zones take report of everything like WR, both Rajdhani Trains show similar number of defects and even Ahmedabad Rajdhani follows the expected numbers.

Zones "handle it" internally, like CR, ER and ECR.
ECR has Excellent control over the rake hence defects remain in control although I'm still doubtful about numbers after seeing numbers of WR.
The data seems Unreliable in case of ER, how does Sealdah Rajdhani end up with so many defects compared to Howrah Rajdhani both running on Same Route and similar timings.
Even for CR, number differs highly from WR Rajdhani Trains- such a difference of thousands is simply not possible for trains having similar destinations.
Some Zones simply don't change:
ECoR, despite having reported huge numbers in terms of defects the maintenance of Bhubaneswar Rajdhani Trip is nowhere near ER or WR counterparts.
NFR, low numbers of Agartala Rajdhani is understandable owning to weekly nature of Train.
for Dibrugarh Rajdhani defects might've been more as people experience same during journey but are reported less.

These days, every other day, we are getting requests from members to allow email login to their FB-based IRI account. 10 years ago, we had given the option for users to login through FaceBook - in retrospect, this was a mistake. These days, apparently, users are quitting FaceBook in droves because...
