Correct. Train used to have this timing earlier when it used to bypass CBE - It used to leave at 19:30 PM and arrive TVC at 11:15 AM and return will leave fot on time at 14:30 PM ; Then later TVC div train slowed down bunch of trains by 30 mins and this train also got its perm route back via CBE so it changed to 19:45 and arrival at 11:45 ; Now they are just moving back to old TT when it used to be single line.

BangaloreMail^~ 26770 blog postsWhy does SR always want to give away its trains to other zones? Dont they even have the capacity to run a dedicated train with their own rake to CAPE from MS? Its the passengers who will be affected if Island Exp is delayed.

What will SR try to achieve by delinking the rakes of PC and MS-CAPE? Pathetic to see the way the zone is functioning. They didnt even care to build a pitline at CAPE and decongest NCJ.

Because they are nothing but lazy. SR especially MS/MAS div base has lost many prestigious train cause they do not want to handle it anymore mentioning they are saturated and will make a way for new trains. Some examples include MAS bangalore mail, mumbai mail, Howrah mail, mumbai express, TVC mail (now in cbe base), Cape express (used to MS base now and then made as SWR train and then TN base and now back to SWR). Boat mail, Ananthapuri gone out of MS base. God knows what I missed in this list. All these are good trains MAS/MS gave up to other base/zones.
If the train's PM shifted to NR, What will be the new train number ?
Also the train should bypass ED , that would save lot of time.

I dont think it will go to CST. Its very recently short term to Pune and the standing time in Pune is around 1 hour and its leaving to its home statio CAPE from pune within that hour. Pushing to CST will make the railways do Secondary Maintanence at CST.
Sure TVC div - we can hope they will do it in next 10 years haha. Doubling KTYM line has never changed any trains TT. Infact TVC mail that used to arrive at 11:15 AM during single line time is now arriving at 11:45 after doubling. They gave lot of slack from Varkala to TVC

The run before 3 days reached CAPE 3 hours late. So, can't say for sure. It all depends. They better run it on time lol.

See NCJ Maintenance for MS CAPE works - I always support common point maintenance. That would be better clean than end point maintenance for RSA. Hopefully this turns good cause 5 years before MS CAPE used to run horribly cause of Island. Now doubling has been done let's see how it going to work
