God knows why these things are happening.....
There is an very long demand for an weekly train from Chennai to Amritsar (Historically before partition of India now the current GT express was supposed to run in weekly service from Mangalore to Peshawar (Pakistan) via Calicut Kovai Madras Bezewada Bhopal Delhi Amritsar Lahore) and was being consistently asked but both NR and SR did Injustice as of current situation both Punjab and TN having opposition parties/MLA's to their constituencies.

See the 5th screenshot. Although Andaman express is of mail express cum passenger type(like Toofan) still it has very nice bookings.
If both SR and NR not interested in running Chennai Amritsar weekly then atleast SR should adjust Andaman arrival at Jalandhar somewhat near 6:30/7:00 AM in morning as this early morning timings were inconvenient. Or Adjust 12621 Tamilnadu express arrival at NDLS about 6:00 AM as we can able to catch 12497 Shan E Punjab (6:40 AM)

I felt somewhat sad when I got this letter.
Even SWR also not interested in running new trains towards Jammu /Amritsar although NEW terminal (SMVT Bengaluru) was inaugurated....
