The meeting also discussed other railway projects in Karnataka, including a new line connecting Chitradurga and Vijayapura, expediting the Hubballi-Ankola line, doubling the Bengaluru-Hassan-Mangaluru line, and constructing a tunnel track between Sakleshpur and Subramanya Road. The state will soon hand over land for the Dharwad-Kittur-Belagavi line, and land acquisition is nearing completion for the Tumakuru-Rayadurga and Tumakuru-Chitradurga-Davangere lines. A new line connecting Hejjala and Chamarajnagar has also been announced. The railways will fully fund and complete the construction of Road Over Bridges (ROBs) and Road Under Bridges (RUBs) in Karnataka within two years.

Meeting mein Karnataka mein aur railway projects pe bhi baat hui, jismein Chitradurga aur Vijayapura ko connect karne wali ek nayi line, Hubballi-Ankola line ko jaldi complete karna, Bengaluru-Hassan-Mangaluru line ko double karna, aur Sakleshpur aur Subramanya Road ke beech tunnel track banana shamil hai. Dharwad-Kittur-Belagavi line ke liye state jaldi hi land de dega, aur Tumakuru-Rayadurga aur Tumakuru-Chitradurga-Davangere lines ke liye land acquisition almost complete ho chuka hai. Hejjala aur Chamarajnagar ko connect karne wali ek nayi line bhi announce ki gayi hai. Both the Railways and Govt of Karnataka should speed up Airport link.
Automatic signalling will do wonders in implementation within the existing infrastructure.
Besides, the promise of completing 2 corridors should boost the railway passengers.
