the Delhi Metro (Rs. 400 crore). The Haryana Chief Minister announced that the Prime Minister would be announcing plans to connect Gurgaon with Faridabad by Metro. Separately, five companies have submitted bids for the underground construction of the 30.91 km long Patna Metro Phase 1. The project involves two packages, PC05 and PC06, covering the 8 km underground section of Line 1, connecting Danapur Cantonment to Khemni Chak. The estimated cost for both packages is Rs. 1683 crore (PC-05) and Rs. 1377 crore (PC-06). Each package includes the construction of three underground stations and tunnels. The technical review of the bids is underway, and the lowest bidder will be selected as the contractor for each package.

Alag se, panch companies ne 30.91 km long Patna Metro Phase 1 ke underground construction ke liye bids submit ki hain. Project mein do packages, PC05 and PC06 hai, jisme 8 km underground section of Line 1, Danapur Cantonment ko Khemni Chak se connect karta hai. Dono packages ki estimated cost Rs. 1683 crore (PC-05) and Rs. 1377 crore (PC-06) hai. Har package mein three underground stations and tunnels ka construction include hai. Singh ne Khemnichak station site se encroachments ko hataane aur PMCH ke paas Radha Krishna temple ko relocate karne ka bhi order diya hai. Simultaneously, feasibility studies for metro projects in four other cities - Gaya, Bhagalpur, Muzaffarpur, and Darbhanga - are underway. An agency called 'Rights' based in Gurugram will conduct the studies at a cost of ₹7 crore, with reports expected in four months. If feasible, these projects will be developed with the creation of detailed project reports (DPRs) by January 2025.

Patna ke alawa rajya ke chaar shaharon mein bhi metro project mein tej laayi ja rahi hai. November tak sambhavna (feasibility) report ke baad January tak DPR ka kaam kara lene ki yojana hai. Iske sath Patna airport aur Patna Sahib tak metro vistar ke liye DPR ko lekar jaldi hi agency Rights se anurodh kiya jaayega. Patna mein metro nirman ke liye Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) madad kar rahi hai. Iski madad se rajhdhani mein do corridor ka kaam chal raha hai. Sarkar ki yojana corridor-2 pe Malahi Pakri se ISBT Bariya ke beech priority ke aadar par metro shuru karna hai. Priority corridor pe JICA fund se kaam hone par 2026 tak metro parichaalan shuru ho pata. Rajya sarkar ka prayas hai ki alag fund se kuch kaam karke July 2025 tak metro shuru kar diya jaaye. Iske liye nirman agency DMRCIL se nagar vikas vibhag ki baatchee ho chuki hai. Pillar nirman ho chuka hai. Track bichane ka kaam hona hai. Sarkar ki yojana metro vistar ki bhi hai. Yojana ke tahat Patna airport aur Patna Sahib gurudwara ko bhi metro se jodne ka prastav hai. Nagar vikas vibhag is par bhi jaldi kaam shuru karega. DPR banane ke liye jaldi hi Gurugram sthit agency Rights se anurodh kiya ja raha hai. Gurugram ki agency Rights karegi adhyayan Patna ke alawa Gaya, Bhagalpur, Muzaffarpur aur Darbhanga mein metro shuru karne ki taiyaari hai. Abhi iski sambhavna (feasibility) ka adhyayan kiya ja raha hai. Gurugram sthit agency Rights ko iski zimmedari saunpi gayi hai. Is par saat crore rupees kharch honge. Survey ke baad Rights ko char mah mein report deni hai. Rights ko metro parichaalan ki feasibility, comprehensive mobility plan aur alternative analysis report taiyar ki jani hai. Report aane ke baad DPR banane ka kaam shuru hoga. Yah bhi January tak poora kar lene ka lakshya hai. Uske baad kaarya praarambh karne ki swikriti li jaayegi.
